October Blog-Home Due to the World Baseball Classic this spring, we wrapped up the season late this year on the 4th of October and I headed home on the 5th! Drove straight to my newly finished house and pulled up to see my mother putting her finishing cleaning touch on it before I arrived, haha! Many thanks to my builders and contractors for all their hard work for making it possible for me to have a ‘roof over my head’! The 09 season was quite a long season but I continue to count my blessings, playing another full season in the big leagues was awesome! To those of you that travel from time to time, there is not much of a better feeling to get HOME is there!? The rest of this month was spent getting moved in and doing some landscaping around the property/house! Also hanging out with family has been a blast as it always is...with my little bro about everyday now and we never seem to skip a beat, even after being apart for 8months at a time! As I reflect and take some time to re-charge, once again I thank you all for taking the time to read this and for being fans! You all make it possible for me to do what I do everyday during the season, and I honestly play to the best of my ability whenever I am between the lines! For my heavenly Father first, my team, then my family and fans! Many blessings to each of you in the days/months to come… |
